Margaret Saunders

After 30+ years as a research scientist in academia and the NHS, I discovered the world of kiln-formed glass (fused glass) through sheer chance and curiosity when I randomly decided to try out a one day course in Bristol. This lit my creative spark and in 2022, I became a full-time glass artist as the owner of Jumaka Glass.

I specialise in creating unique handcrafted elegant fused glass art, from bespoke jewellery to larger pet portraits and wall art, and I love sharing the joy of this art form with others. When I'm not busy in my studio, I'm a nature enthusiast, avid reader and animal lover, and I enjoy exploring the countryside with my family. I’m here to build meaningful relationships, exchange ideas, and support others on their creative and personal journeys. Let's connect and explore how we can encourage and inspire each other!
