In my opinion networking is one of the best parts of being a business owner. I get to meet new and interesting people and be part of great conversations. Sometimes running a business isn’t easy and just having a chat with others who get it helps. I also get to find out how I can help others and through all of these conversations, it often leads to business being done. And let’s be honest, that’s ultimately often why we network and having those conversations makes that happen.
I am big on networking in person but networking online also has massive benefits. I can meet people from all over the world this way, the travel time is non-existent and sometimes going out a networking takes a lot of energy whereas networking from the comfort of your own desk is a lot more manageable. That’s why I have taken on the role of leading the ONLE Winchester 2 group. (Yes, Winchester is so popular that one group just wasn’t enough!)

Experience ONLE - the business network for people who like people - by booking a visit to this 90-minute online meeting. You’ll meet ONLE members and visitors, introduce your business, explain what you need and hone your business skills as part of the ONLE Talks education discussion. You’ll receive an attendee list before the meeting starts so you can take notes and have follow-up conversations with the people you meet.
Meeting times:
Second Tuesday of the month, 10:00 - 11:30 (UK)
Where: Online via Zoom
Preparation: You’ll be invited to introduce yourself and your business, plus in the ONLE Actions section, you’ll be able to ask for specific introductions, help and share special offers. ONLE is the network for people who like people, so approach it as a chance to meet people, rather than pitch! We also recommend you print the attendee sheet and write notes during the meeting, this will allow you to follow up with the people you meet.
