Hi I’m Claire and I’m all about creating connection and magic in my life and in my work. I believe that celebrating love is an act of beautiful resistance!

As an independent celebrant with my business Creating Ceremony, I craft uplifting, bespoke wedding and funeral ceremonies in the Sussex area and beyond. This is no ‘insert name here’ type of situation! All my ceremonies start by listening very closely to the people they are for and then using what I learn from them to create a ceremony that perfectly reflects their feelings, their hopes and their love.

With my other business hat on, I teach people to become celebrants as Head of Training at The Celebrants Collective. Through our highly interactive online course or our in-person residential course, we have empowered people worldwide to bring their hearts, souls, skills and life experience into crafting unforgettable milestone ceremonies.

When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me walking by the sea or on the South Downs (I’m lucky enough to live close to both in Worthing), hanging out with my gorgeous family and friends (there will almost certainly be tea and cake involved), dancing round my kitchen to 80s bangers, or with my nose in a book.
