What better way to spend an evening than with the lovely Chef Gary at the Chilworth Manor.
Come along and experience demonstrations and carvings from our very own Chef Gary, plenty of opportunities to take part during the evening and make sure you brush up on your fruit carving skills as there will be a prize for the best apple bird carving of the night!
6:45 -7:15pm – Arrival
7:15 – 7:40pm – ChefGary savoury summer canapés interactive demonstration
ChefGary will provide necessary equipment, ingredients and live demonstration of creating a delicious selection of summer themed canapés. Audience participation would be welcomed and a talk through of recipes will be live along with a group tasting afterwards.
• Chipolata sausages, honey, Dijon and sesame seed glaze
• Smashed avocado and lime bruschetta, red chilli, spring onion and fresh coriander
• Bruschetta, baby plum tomato, red pepper, fresh basil and chilli salsa
• King prawn cocktail, tarragon and paprika mayonnaise, ciabatta crouton, cucumber
7:40 – 7:50pm – Break
7:50 – 8:15pm – Apple bird carving and group participation - prize for the best bird!
ChefGary will give us a demonstration of an apple swan carving. Guests will then have a chance to reproduce a replica with their own carving skills. There will have a prize for best effort!
8:15 – 9:00pm – Buffet, provided by Chilworth Manor
To comprise of a selection of cold meats, olives and oils with breads, three mini hot dishes and a selection of three salads. So no need to eat before you come along!
9:00 – 9:30pm – ChefGary sweet canapés
ChefGary will give us a live demonstration of some sweet canapes. Audience participation welcomed. Live talk through of all recipes and group participation welcomed.
